Area Profile:
Kasur District or Qasur District (Urdu: ضلع قصور) is one of the districts in the province of Punjab, Pakistan It came into existence on 1 July 1976. Earlier it was part of Lahore District.
The district capital is Kasur city, the birth city of the Sufi poet Bulleh Shah, well known in that region as well as in the whole of Pakistan. The total area of the district is 3,995 square kilometers.

To provide free, efficient, and credible life-like saving, curative, and preventive services to the people of Thatti Autar (Thatta) adjoining Jambar Kalan, Pattoki, and the whole district Kasur.

**Sultana Welfare Trust ** has launched a **Comprehensive Rural Health Project** in **Thatti Autar (Thatta)**. Under this initiative, a **100-bed hospital** will be constructed to provide **quality emergency, medical, surgical, and outpatient care** to over **3,900,000 people** across **16 villages**. The hospital will offer **specialized treatment** for high-risk cases, including **neurosurgical procedures and critical medical interventions**. Patients from the **Kasur district and beyond** will benefit from these services.
**Specialized Neurology & Neurosurgery Services**
The hospital will focus on **neurology and neurosurgery**, offering comprehensive care for conditions affecting the **brain, spinal cord, peripheral nervous system, and muscles**.
Dedicated units will be established for:
- **Dementia**
- **Epilepsy**
- **Multiple Sclerosis**
- **Stroke Rehabilitation**
A **state-of-the-art neuro-rehabilitation service** will be introduced, featuring the **largest specialized neurosurgical ICU (ITU) and the only dedicated neuro-medical ICU** in Pakistan.
**Pakistan’s First Muscular Research Centre (MRC)**
The hospital aims to establish **Pakistan’s first Muscular Research Centre (MRC) for Neuromuscular Diseases**, integrating **clinical care and research** for muscle and peripheral nerve disorders.
**Advanced Neuroradiology & Interventional MRI**
A cutting-edge **neuroradiology department** will be developed, housing **Pakistan’s first interventional MRI scanner**, enabling surgeons to perform real-time MRI imaging during brain surgeries. A **dedicated operating room** will feature a **1.5 Tesla MRI scanner** to enhance surgical precision and patient outcomes.
**Neuro Palliative Care Program**
A **Neuro Palliative Care Program** will be introduced for patients with **advanced neurological diseases** requiring specialized end-of-life care. A team of **researchers, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals** will establish standards for palliative care, ensuring **compassionate support and relief** for terminally ill patients.

OLD AGE HOME

Project Overview
Sultana Welfare Trust proposes the establishment of a state-of-the-art Old Age Home in Pattoki, Kasur, covering 8 kanals of land. This project aims to provide shelter, medical care, and a dignified lifestyle to senior citizens who lack family support or require specialized elderly care. The facility will cater to elderly individuals from diverse backgrounds, offering both long-term and short-term residences with comprehensive healthcare, recreational activities, and psychological support.

Over the course of a year, factoring in turnover and temporary stays, the facility could provide care for over 150-200 elderly individuals, depending on the duration of their stay and the level of medical attention required. This initiative will significantly contribute to the well-being of the aging population in the region by offering them a safe and dignified living environment.
